Putnam County Math Tournament Participants

May 7th was the big day for students competing in the 19th Annual Putnam County District Pierce Elementary Math All-Stars Competition. Students were chosen based on their math skills and high achievement.

During the competition, teams were created by combining students from various schools in the county to work together to solve math computations, math concepts, and relayed teamwork problems. All students receiveda trophy for participation. Additionally, students on the team with the highest overall scores came back to school with a trophy.

Fifth Grade: Tanner Tilton, Zachary Prioletti, Genesis Rodriguez, and Olivia Wisker. Alternate: Brandon French

Fourth Grade: Ivan Rodriguez, Matthew Stephenson, Ian Watt, and Lindsay Stillword. Alternate: Sara Welch

Third Grade: Clayton McCool, Veronica Merino-Perez, Eriyana Anderson, and Maria Fernandez-Aleman.
